Introduction
We may associate anger mostly in a negative manner. But anger is a natural human emotion, and it’s not always negative.
We need to understand, anger can help you know when you’ve been emotionally offended or hurt or when a situation is unacceptable and needs to change. But at the same time, it’s important to learn how to process and react to your anger. Bottling up our anger can have detrimental effects to our mind, body and health. Frequent feelings of anger have been linked to higher risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, depression and difficulty sleeping. This is especially possible if you experience highly explosive anger or your anger is extremely repressed.
Fortunately, you can learn to understand, process, and release your anger in healthy ways. Having a proper channel to vent up your emotion of anger, can have tremendous effect on your health, relationship and generally your life.
