We are communicating all the time. Communication is one of the essential skills in the workplace that would enhance the performance of the staff, building positive relationship, gaining trust and maintaining quality work.
These skills enable an individual to build rapport amongst their colleagues, management and also with their customers. The spectrum for communication skills are broad – from giving instruction to asking for information, listening to questions and answering them, managing people’s expectations and influencing them, to identifying and assessing a potential conflict situation correctly so that the appropriate communication skills can be applied to recover the situation.
In this highly interactive workshop, staff members will learn to apply the both areas of the communication skills – speaking and listening. Distinguish between communication and effective communication. Understand each of us is different and that creates our uniqueness. Learning to accept each other represents building lasting and cohesive relationship.
